Your trip to Croatia

This itinerary combines pleasant nature, beach and culture, with the discovery of the two main cities, Split and Dubrovnik, listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, but also Brac and Hvar: two of the most beautiful islands on the Dalmatian coast, that show the combination of Slavic and Mediterranean cultures.

An ideal route for travellers who want to immerse themselves in a historic destination plus experience the sweetness of island life for a few days.

Ferry trips and private transfers are already in the itinerary to avoid any logistical issues when you're there. And, for all stages, we favour locations in the heart of the cities or a few steps from the beach so that you don't have to go far each day to enjoy yourself.
Not forgetting the assistance of our local Concierges to accompany you on your journey and advise you as needed.

Included in the itinerary

A visit to Dubrovnik accompanied by an expert private guide and a funicular climb of Mount Srd. Surrounded by medieval ramparts on which the waves break, Dubrovnik will surely amaze you with its Renaissance palaces and flowery alleyways. Its white stone monuments and churches are in perfect harmony and of rare beauty. Strolling through the gates of the city, you will cross the ages, from Romanesque and Gothic art to the high Renaissance and Baroque. The entire Old Town, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, can be visited on foot. Also on the itinerary for your trip, a sailing cruise in the Pakleni archipelago.

The Dalmatian islands

The island of Brac - The third largest island in the Dalmatian archipelago, the island of Brac is a tourist island, but it also it accounts for almost half of Dalmatian olive-oil production and also has small fishing ports that can be very busy when the catch arrives. You'll take a visit to Brac to experience Mediterranean authenticity and the joys of island life.

Hvar Island - Elegant and chic, Hvar is one of the most well-known Adriatic islands, and rightly so. Alone, it gives you a condensed taste of what the Mediterranean has to offer: wild hills, unspoiled scrubland, pastoral paths, solitary coves, the warm fragrance of summer lavender and the conviviality of small protected harbours.

In season, take advantage of the sweetness of summer life, lively terraces, and beautiful plants as you wander along the alleys of the old harbour: Every summer, Hvar is transformed into a Croatian Saint Tropez, becoming more and more famous every year. But, rest assured, the town is not losing its soul and at the end of the summer season, the bay is quiet and peaceful again.

Optional - Gourmet getaway to the Split market followed by lunch.

DAY 3

DAY 4

Split - Brac

Boarding and crossing to the island of Brac.

Three-night stay on Vela Luka, a quiet peaceful bay. Your hotel's decoration makes use of bright colours and elementary geometric shapes, plus plenty of natural light which adds to the bright and cheerful atmosphere. The hotel's vegetable garden and orchard provide fruit and vegetables to the kitchens, where the hotel's homemade bread and pastries are baked. Spend time together in the pool, or parents can enjoy spa treatments or the gym. Then head down to the beach together, to the scent of pine, rosemary and lavender.

DAY 5

Brac Island

The hotel and the beach offer many different options for sea activities or relaxation. However, you can also discover Brac, its fragrant forests and white-stone villages. In Bol, the Zlatni Rat beach, in the shape of an arrowhead sticking out into the intense blue of the Adriatic, is splendid: you can reach it on foot, by boat or take a small train; the church of the Dominicans has paintings of the Venetian Tripo Kokolja (1661-1713). In Skrip, see where the Romans mined limestone to build the Diocletian palace in Spalatum/Split, in particular; the museum of the Radojkovic Palace presents beautiful ancient pieces, but also documents traditional rural life; the road to Nerezisca is particularly picturesque. The former Blaca Hermitage is an exceptional site; founded by Franciscan hermits in the 16th century, it was an important centre of Glagolitic culture (the Glagolitic alphabet was developed by Saints Cyril and Methodius for writing Old Slavic in the ninth century); the buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries; and the village of Milna has a nice little harbour.

DAY 7

BRAC - HVAR

Cross to Jelsa Port on Hvar Island.

Enjoy a two-night stay in a quiet bay on the island. Situated on a hillside overlooking the sea, this hotel enjoys an exceptional location, surrounded by a park shaded by palm trees, lemon trees, cypresses, and centuries-old pine trees. And there is a small private cove and its wooden pontoon hung between two rocks. The raised terraces with armchairs and coffee tables overlook a sparkling sea with the Pakleni archipelago in the distance. Indoor spaces are simply furnished but are large and bright, opening out to the gardens with large bay windows.

DAY 8

Hvar

Things to do and see - Stroll through the old town, bathe in one of the coves of the Pakleni archipelago, and take a scooter ride through the lavender fields of the island's interior.

Included in the itinerary - Sailing cruise to the Pakleni Islands, an archipelago of three islands - the largest and most popular being St. Clement, which is known for its village Palmizana, lovely beach, flat rocks, and its restaurants. Marinkovac Island is the wildest and least crowded. And finally, Jerolim, once inhabited by Franciscan monks for the production of salt. These islands are home to wild coves, hidden bays and crystal clear waters to discover and enjoy.

DAY 9

Hvar - Dubrovnik
