Romania is the ninth largest wine producer in the world, and so once the children are in bed, you’ll find plenty of wine to sample after a long day exploring on a Romania family holiday. For a real taste of Romanian culture, head to the nation's bustling capital city, Bucharest, where you can sample traditional dishes like mamaliga (polenta) or ciorba de burta (tripe soup).
