So what are the main attractions? Well, the food, obviously, which is an alluring 'best of' of French and Italian cuisine, but this is also one of the most beautiful islands anywhere in the Mediterranean. Like neighbouring Sardinia, Corsica combines dramatic interior mountain scenery with picture perfect coastlines and beaches, all fringed with extraordinarily blue seas that wouldn't look out of place in the Caribbean.
You will doubtless spend time on the coast, in one of the luxury hotels in Corsica that Original Travel has specifically with honeymooners in mind, but don't rule out the wild and wooly interior. The mountainous landscape is truly dramatic, and for any couples keen on walking, the interior is criss-crossed with well marked trails, and also the GR20, the most famous of all French walking routes. This two-week walk would be a very memorable trip, but maybe not the most relaxing of honeymoon activities, so we can instead arrange a trip to one section or other for the day. We can also arrange speedboat hire for the day, as well as sailing, snorkelling and kitesurfing trips, plus guided tours of some of the fascinating ports and places on this, the island of Napoleon's birth.
One more thought - there are regular flights from Paris to Corsica (not something that can be said from the UK), so you can combine a stay in the ridiculously romantic French capital with this island idyll.
