Train Journey
Begin your tailor-made family trip to Paris by heading to London St. Pancras to catch a morning Eurostar. Sit back and relax on the two-and-a-half-hours train journey to Paris. Upon arrival into Gare du Nord, make your own way to the hotel (either by Metro or taxi) and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Armed with handy tips and recommendations from our Concierge, familiarise yourself with the city, do a little sightseeing or grab a delicious family dinner at one of the many chic restaurants. Then it's off to bed for an early night ready for your first day of exploring tomorrow.
Pint-Sized Paris
Today, on your first day of your tailor-made family trip to Paris, you will get the chance to discover the city on a three-hour private guided tour, stopping often for yummy treats. Begin the family-friendly tour in Saint-German-des-Pres where you can admire the beautiful building of Musee d'Orsay and treat the whole family to fresh croissants in one of the many patisseries.
Next, thrill your youngsters with a ride on the carousel in front of Eiffel Tower and a visit to a chocolatier to see (and mostly taste) the wonderful concoctions. After this, climb the 300 steps (or take the funicular railway) up to Sacre Coeur and reward yourself with some colourful macaroons at the top.
End the day with a visit the small zoo in Jardin des Plants followed by a tasty hot chocolate in the Luxembourg Gardens (if your children aren't too hyped up on sugar at this point).
See the Eiffel Tower
This morning, after a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your tailor-made family trip to Paris continues with a visit to the most iconic landmark of Paris, the Eiffel Tower. Built for the World Fair of 1889, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited attractions in the world, and a must-see for anyone visiting the French capital. Armed with queue-jumping tickets, you'll avoid the crowds (and the moans of "I'm bored" from your youngsters) and climb all the way to the third floor - a whopping 900ftabove Paris - to admire the panoramic views of the city.
In the afternoon you can stroll around Champs de Mars and enjoy a picnic, while the little ones play in the gardens or see a puppet show.
Treasure Hunt in the Louvre
Today, on the final day of your tailor-made family trip to Paris, enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel, before heading to the Louvre Museum for a family-friendly private guided tour. The two-hour treasure hunt around the museum will take you past some of the most famous artworks in the Louvre including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo as well as artefacts of the Medieval Ages, masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance and captivating curiosities from Ancient Egypt. Equipped with a fun game booklet, we guarantee that les enfants will really enjoy discovering the Louvre.
In the afternoon, head towards the Gare du Nord to catch your train back home. After all the excitement of the trip the children will hopefully be out for the count but if not, your Sharky and George fun packs will keep them entertained for the whole journey, giving you parents some time to sit back and enjoy the ride.
